1. Enter your Gradebook and filter to your desired Lab Portion/Assignment.
Please note that the Progress should be set as To Be Reviewed.
2. Click on the Lab Portion/Assignment name at the top of the column or click on Purple Checked Box.
Please keep in mind that the Lesson/Exploration portion is all auto-graded.
3. Click on Manually Grade This Activity.
If this button (Manually Grade this Activity) is grayed out please make sure that your filters are set to List: All Students, Results: All Best, Progress: To Be Reviewed.
4. Select a question number with an open checkbox to begin manually grading the item.
A green check mark will indicate what has already been graded and the unchecked box will show what has not been graded. The last question will always be a short answer question that needs to be graded by the instructor.
The Marking Guide on the right side of the student's answer is the sample answer/answer guide.
Use the ">" arrow on the right hand side of the question numbers to see the rest of the questions that need to be graded in an assignment.
5. Check the box at the top of the column to mark all students or select the proper students that you would like to assign a bulk grade to.
6. Enter the point value (1, 0.5, 0.25, etc.) in the Bulk Grade Field before clicking the Disk icon to save. Then click Confirm and the grades will automatically update.
7. Grades will update and the question will be marked as graded.
