Reasons to Rename Custom Lessons

  2. Accurate Gradebook Tracking: Clear lesson names make filtering, grading, and reporting easier.
  3. Consistency Across Courses: Standardized names prevent errors when copying lessons or applying Policy Sets.

Steps to Rename a Lesson:

  1. Access the Content Repository:
    • From the Class Homepage, click on Content Repository (third option in the instructor main navigation menu).
  1. Navigate to Lessons & Assignments:
    • In the Current Class pane, click on Lessons & Assignments.
  1. Select the Appropriate Unit:
    • Click the unit that contains the lesson you wish to edit.
  2. Edit the Lesson:
    • Click the name of the lesson to be edited.
    • Click Edit to rename the unit.
  1. Rename the Lesson:
    • In the Lesson Editor, click Edit next to the lesson title.
    • At the top of the page, rename the lesson or evaluation as needed.
