What’s New
For Instructors:
- Save your preferences when grading: Your customized gradebook view saves automatically, so you don’t need to re-apply filters each time you grade. This includes the filters you want to apply, the number of rows displayed at a time, and more.
Tip: You can hide the color indicators from view by unchecking 'Progress'. This will be saved for every session.
- Improvements to bulk & manual grading: You can now mark missing work as zero through bulk grading or manual grading with fewer clicks. The process of saving bulk grades is also clearer, and navigation buttons are easier to find in the gradebook.
- Easily review student work without extra clicks or missing files: Student-submitted images are now visible in the gradebook.
- Notifications for students re-attempting work: You'll now receive an email when a student re-submits work. You have two options:
- Choose whether HTML questions are graded automatically or manually: There’s a new drop-down where you can select which configuration you prefer. The default option is automatically graded.
- Expanded training & support: We’ve expanded our Instructor Help Center with new articles. Here are our top resources:
- Lab Portal FAQs
- Understanding the Content Repository
- Grading Best Practices
- Setup guides to link lessons in your LMS
Fixed Bugs
- Some students were unable to place an order for a lab kit during their 14-day trial period. This has been resolved, and students can now purchase their kits during this trial period. Follow these instructions for more information.
- Fewer image upload errors:
- Before: Students would encounter errors when uploading images with file names that included spaces or special characters.
- After: Students can now upload images with file names that include spaces or special characters (up to 300 characters).
